At Central Carolina Technical College, you get the whole college experience! We are a two-year institution offering a variety of student clubs and organizations similar to what you find at any four-year college or university; Whether you want to play Uno and Fortnite with Game On! Titans or wish to help the environment with Biology Club, CCTC has something for you! Various events take place throughout the semester that are free to students. Clubs & Organizations

  • Anime Club:
    The purpose of this organization is to provide a safe place to
    discuss interesting and popular themes and plots across anime,
    as well as other aspects of the genre.
  • Biology Club:
    The purpose of this organization is to promote interest,
    understanding and knowledge of the scientific world, throughout
    the college and local community. The club fosters the type of
    honest skepticism that is necessary for lifelong learning and
    focuses on the area of Biology and our environment. The CCTC
    Biology Club is open to students of any major.
  • Game On! Titans:
    The Game On! Titans Club is a student organization that provides
    students with the opportunity to interact with other students
    interested in tabletop and electronic games. The club encourages
    critical thinking and problem-solving skills through friendly
    competition in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Phi Theta Kappa:
    Phi Theta Kappa seeks to recognize and encourage scholarship
    among associate degree students. According to its international
    guidelines, the organization “provides an opportunity for the
    development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate
    to exchange ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars,
    and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.”
    Membership in the Central Carolina chapter of Phi Theta Kappa
    is limited to associate degree and certificate students who have
    attained a grade point average of 3.25 after 12 or more credit hours.
  • SAGA:
    SAGA is an organization that holds space for CCTC students to
    discuss and engage topics relevant to sexuality, romance, and
    gender to provide support for and educate community members.
  • Student Nurses Association:
    As part of the National Student Nurses’ Association, the club’s
    purpose is to help prepare students for their roles as professionals
    in the nursing field and is open to all students enrolled in the
    ADN program.
  • Student Veterans Association:
    The mission of SVA is to provide military veterans with the
    resources, support and advocacy needed to succeed in
    higher education and following graduation.
